"Redwood" an Artistry Luxury Scented Candle Experience
"This candle represents the journey of self-love!" - Sakina
When we talk about self-love, we often refer to upholding psychological concepts like self-respect, self-value, self-esteem and self-worth. But ultimately, self-love revolves most around self-compassion: It’s the intentional choice to show up for yourself, support your needs and wants, and honor your limitations. Self-love, defined as the “love of self” or “regard for one’s own happiness or advantage, it has been conceptualized both as a basic human necessity and as a moral flaw, akin to vanity and selfishness, egotism, narcissism and so forth. However, do not allow the negative connotations of self-love to cause you to shy away for the concept of loving yourself first.
We had a conversation with Sakina herself, the founder of Sakina Tribe, about the creation of this luxury concrete candle and the importance of self-love.
" Each can take anywhere from 4 to 6 hours to create assuming they don't require multiple- layer work like this candle. It took me 3 days to complete this vessel." - Sakina
When Sakina spoke about the creation of this luxury interior design concrete candle that will house Sakina Tribe's luxury scented candle she was smiling ear to ear.
This art vessel is a new member of the Remembering Love Line, called “Self Love”. It depicts a long road symbolizing the long journey to loving oneself. The path is worn and wet from recent rain to indicate the trials along the way. The lines on the side of the road have started to fade as many have traveled this turbulent path before finding true love. The rain of many tears along the way makes life’s goals sometimes feel too slippery to grasp.
Sakina was asked what inspired this luxury scented candle, "Redwood", and how does it relate to Self Love?
Sakina stated: That the trees along the way symbolizing your becoming grounded as you travel the path towards self-love. You see love in your future as the root of the trees seem to come closer together for grounding and stabilization. The heart is white to symbolize innocence or purity of heart to acquire true love. The trees and forest along the route are red with orange leaves. It is no accident that red and orange is where your grounding starts. Thus, whether you look at this spiritually or from a corporeal world approach. You must be grounded to reach your higher self.
The root chakra is associated with red, symbolizing stability and grounding. The Muladhara Chakra it is surrounded by the element earth so it reflects the color deep red. The Root Chakra color symbolizes primal instincts of strength and vitality. The Red color is also linked to our physical and emotional needs of survival and self-preservation.
